The development and formation of the child actively occurs in the first years of his life. Parents should take these processes responsibly and help the baby develop properly. When a child makes his first steps, it’s time to choose his first shoes. Parents should acquire models for their child's first steps, paying attention not to the appearance. Since the feet go through a long process of formation, the active phase of which falls on the first three years of the child’s life, nursery shoes for babies should be selected correctly.

Features

Today, there are many types of toddler shoes: sandals and shoes, as well as shoes of various designs overwhelm the shelves of children's stores. However, you should buy shoes only from proven manufacturers, whose shoes are certified and meets all requirements.

Specifications

  • Use of natural materials. Due to the imperfection of the heat exchange system in toddlers, nursery shoes should be made only from natural matter - leather or textile. The properties of these materials will protect the baby's feet from overheating and excessive sweating.

Special outsole. This part of the nursery shoes deserves special attention. The sole in children's footwear should be rather thin and flexible, but at the same time differ in rigidity. Rubber is most often used to produce the sole of children's shoes, but there are also models with leather soles.

  • Stiff nose and heel. The back should reach the ankle and fit snugly to the baby's foot. The toe part of children's shoes is usually rounded and wide, which allows the fingers to fit freely inside the shoe. Preference should be given to closed models of nursery shoes, to protect the toes from blows.

The presence of the heel. This feature is a must for nursery shoes. A small heel is necessary to maintain the straight posture of the baby and the development of muscles in the legs.

  • Orthopedic insole. The insole of the nursery shoes must have an instep support - a dense elevation on the inside of the insole. This mechanism distributes the load over the entire surface of the foot, which allows the legs to not get tired while walking.
  • Tight fixation. One more important condition of footwear for the first steps - fasteners for dense fixing on a leg. Usually, Velcro fasteners play the role of fasteners, which are easiest to fasten to the child. Some models have laces.
  • Suitable size. Clare shoes should be no more than one centimeter more than a child’s foot. Shoes must be tried on directly on the foot of the baby, or inserted into the workpiece with the outlines of the legs. The outer side of the shoe does not match the actual size of the shoes.

Tips for choosing shoes for preschool institutions

In kindergartens it is not allowed to bring slippers and other soft types of shoes as a replacement shoe. Closed shoes, possibly with cuts for better ventilation, are best.

If parents do not have the funds to purchase leather shoes, then you should choose a pair of shoes in which at least the inside is made of natural materials.

The child’s leg grows very quickly, so the shoes change about once every six months. If there are traces of shoes after wearing, you should replace an old pair of shoes with new shoes of a larger size.
