  • cardboard;
  • news sheets;
  • PVA glue;
  • scissors and stationery knife;
  • awl;
  • clothespins;
  • acrylic paints and varnish.

Before proceeding directly to the weaving, you need to make the tubes out of the newspaper. To do this, take a newspaper sheet, fold it along and cut it into oblong stripes. Next, take a needle and wind it with a newspaper strip. Edges of the duct fix with glue. Knitting needles carefully remove. Dyeing tubes preferably before weaving. Acrylic paints are perfect for this purpose.

    We start weaving bread box with a lid. Take the cardboard and cut out the template in the form of an oval (10 cm).Fix the workpiece with glue. We prepare tubes from newspapers (width of 6-7 mm). Place them on the workpiece perpendicular to the main tube, which is located in the center (along the entire length).

    We begin weaving (one tube comes to another). In the process, to form an even oval, we gradually add new tubes.

    In the final stage, we make a bend. Give the edges of the tubes round shape and remove them with the help of a thin knitting needle inside the workpiece.

    When the lid is ready, proceed to the creation of a loaf plate. Its size fits under the cover. Cut a circular shape out of cardboard, apply a central tube to it and start weaving by analogy with a lid. All edges of the plates are processed in the same hem as on the lid. Finished bread box covered with acrylic varnish and give dry. At will the cover of the product can be decorated with bright napkins, miniature stones and original drawings.
