Knitted hats - almost all-weather accessory. Depending on which yarn the hat is knitted from, the hat can be both a summer and demi-season thing, and even a hat for the winter.
Summer models are most often made of cotton yarn, viscose or linen, jute or raffia can also be used, for winter choose wool, half-woolen or acrylic yarn, as well as mohair or boucle effect.

- Fedor. Headdress with a trapezoidal crown, in which there are three grooves. Fields of medium width, which can be bent up.
- Trilby. The crown also resembles a trapezoid in shape, but it has one depression in the center and two small ones on the sides. The fields are narrower than those of Fedora. The base of the crown can be decorated with chains, laces with beads, etc.
- Homburg The crown is trapezoidal, with one longitudinal depression, rather narrow fields, bent upwards on the sides. The crown may be decorated with ribbon or knitted laces.

- Bowler. The crown is round, without depressions, narrow margins, curved upwards.
- Cloche Hat-bell, which covers the forehead, with a low rounded crown and narrow fields. The crown and field can be separated by tape. Such hats are usually decorated with various decorative elements, most often with crocheted flowers.
- Slough With lowered fields of medium width and a low rounded crown.
- Breton With a low, hemispherical crown, with wide margins, bent up along the edges.
- With ears. Craftswomen knit hats with ears, which are called "Cat", "Fox", "Panda". The names in this case speak for themselves.

How to choose?
When choosing a style it is important to pay attention not only to the material, texture and color of the thing, but also to the fit of the hat to the type of person:
- On the round face, knitted hats with a high crown will look good, which should visually lengthen it. It is important that the headgear does not cover the forehead. Attention should be paid to models decorated with vertically arranged elements, such as feathers. Fields can be straight or asymmetrical. It is better to abandon hats with a rounded crown. Models that move to the forehead: cloche, tablet, bowler - do not fit chubby.
- Knitted caps with a high crown suitable for a square face type. Preference should be given to styles with a rounded crown or one that can be worn by sliding to the side. Fields of headdress can be asymmetrical or down, with bends. Straight fields should be avoided.
- For persons with a “heart” the best option would be knitted hats with brim of medium length, a cloche model would suit. It is better to refuse wide-brimmed hats.
- If you have an oblong face, stop your choice on headdresses with a low crown and wide brim, on styles that cover the forehead. A closh model will do.
