Many girls often want to change their image - to make it more alive and expressive. To do this, they resort to different methods, but the most basic of them is hair coloring. However, after dyeing, they are faced with a new problem - regrown roots, which can be removed using a procedure such as diyut.

What it is?

As mentioned earlier, dimaut is a completely new procedure, with the help of which regrown roots are eliminated or specially darkened, in order to give the hair a special look. It happens this way: the stylist paints the root zone of the hair in a darker color than the main one. Thus, the hair looks more well-groomed and neat.

Performance technique

The painting technique depends entirely on the chosen color and type of painting. It does not differ in increased complexity and consists of very simple actions.

  1. The first step is to select the desired shade. It is very important to choose it correctly, because the further look of the hairstyle will depend on it.
  2. Then you can separate the strands from each other and begin to paint the roots. Apply, shading in the direction of the main length of the hair, without touching them at the same time. In the case of selection of fragmentary blackout, only the selected area should be painted.
  3. Apply the coloring agent should be very quickly and carefully.
  4. Now it remains only to keep the paint on the hair for a set time, which, as a rule, indicate in the instructions.
  5. Once the time has completely expired, the product can be safely washed off.

It is important to ensure that the rest of the hair mass is not stained with paint. To do this, you can use a special mask with a moisturizing effect.

You will learn more about how dimout staining is performed in the following video.

Types of staining

For certain parts of the head there are different types of dimaut.

  • Grown roots effect. This is the easiest and most basic method. It involves staining the root zone. As the color, the closest shade to the main color is chosen, but at the same time it should be somewhat darker.
  • Ash staining. This type is most suitable for blondes and girls with extremely blond hair. The whole process consists of painting the roots with ashy paint. With this method you can achieve very interesting and elegant transitions.
  • Fragment blackout. In this case, any part of the head, such as a bang or the back of the head, can be stained.

Also when making dimauta they rely on such factors as hair length and color.

For brunettes, such a procedure is categorically not suitable, since it makes no sense to dye their roots dark in color — creating an interesting image here will not work.

For other colors Dimaut is fully acceptable, especially for blondes. The transition from dark roots to blond hair will make the hair volume and unique.

The same applies to red and blond girls: having picked up a suitable shade, their image will sparkle with new colors.

As for the length of the hair, then difficulties may arise when working with short hair. Here you need to be extremely attentive and careful, gradually reducing the area of staining. This is necessary to create a smooth transition: so the hair looks more beautiful.

In general, Dimaut technique does not differ in particular complexity, and it can be performed at home. Nevertheless, even this kind of work requires special care and professionalism, so it’s best to turn to specialists who can do the work correctly and efficiently.
