Not every member of the weaker sex can boast of long nails, but there are almost no women who would not dream of beautiful nails. Today, there are many methods of nail extensions of various materials. If earlier mostly acrylic or gel was used, then lately more and more often masters prefer to use biogel. What is this material, what tools will be needed in the work, and what methods of nail biogel exist, let's see.

Material Features

Biogel is a material created on the basis of rubber and proteins. It has a high elasticity. At first glance, this material is not much different from the usual gel, but the biogel has several advantages.

  • Its composition is close to the composition of the nail plate, therefore it is rarely rejected, forming a single whole with the nail.
  • The material is more durable than regular gel. It is flexible, it is not affected by temperature changes and shocks. It is less prone to chipping.
  • Biogel allows you to immediately construct accrued nail, minimizing the filing.
  • When correcting the biogel, it is not necessary to cut it, it can be dissolved in a special liquid, thereby reducing the negative impact of the cutters on the nail plate.

But there is this material and significant drawbacks. Biogel is very sensitive to chemicals, so cleaning the house and washing the dishes is still recommended using gloves. Biogel is also a water-permeable material, so a long stay of marigolds in the liquid is not recommended, as the composition may soften and deform.

Many masters of the nail industry claim that biogel has no harmful effect on the nail plate, unlike the same gel. But it is not so.

Despite the fact that the composition of biogel does not really contain a number of aggressive substances such as benzene, the material also does not give access to oxygen to the epithelium, therefore the nail plate is deformed with time and becomes thinner.

Kinds

Biogel is available in several types. They can be divided by color and features.

By color biogel is the following types.

  • Transparent. Used as a basis for a manicure, does not give any color. It is also used to strengthen the nail plate.
  • Camouflage. It has natural shades that can be matched to the skin color. Used as a base coat for various designs.
  • Color. The palette here is quite diverse. A feature of this biogel is that due to the color pigment contained in the material, the drying time is increased.

    If we talk about the features, here you can select other subtypes of the material.

    • Sculptural. The composition includes silk extract, which allows you to combine two qualities in the material at once: strength and elasticity.
    • Royal Sealer. Color or colorless bio-gel that gives an excellent flare when dried. Can be used as a topcoat.
    • S-coating. Perfectly strengthens the nail plate. Best suited for building long forms. Does not require finishing fastening.
    • UV Biogel Indispensable for summer, as it has a UV filter and protects the nail plate from the negative effects of sunlight.

    Instruments

    For nail biogel, except him, You will need the following tools and materials.

    • Files with abrasiveness 220-240 grit for natural nails, and 150-180 grit for opil biogel.
    • Degreaser. You can buy a special tool in the store or use 90% alcohol.
    • Acid-free primer. This is a kind of primer that not only removes moisture from the nail, but also lifts the scales, making the surface rough, which increases the adhesion between the coating and the nail plate.
    • The finish. A binding layer that protects biogel from the negative effects of the environment.
    • Paper forms for building.
    • Lamp to dry.
    • Straight flat brush of synthetic fibers.
    • Orange sticks, pusher.

    Method and technology of capacity

    When building nails with biogel initially Need to do a manicure:

    1. to clean pterygium;
    2. move the cuticle;
    3. give the nail plate the desired shape;
    4. remove the buff in 220-240 grit the top layer of the nail, lifting the scales up.

    After these manipulations, you need to remove dust from your fingers with a dry brush, degrease the nail plate and apply a primer. Next, go to the building itself.

    • We set the form so that it is a continuation of the nail. There should be no voids between the paper and the nail, if the form does not fit closely, we cut it with scissors.
    • Then you need to design the length of the nail. To do this, put the biogel on the form itself against the nail plate. We build the future length of the nails. To make them all the same, you should focus on the lines of the form. After you have laid the biogel, allow a few seconds for the composition to self-level, and fix the material in the lamp. If your device is a UV lamp, the drying time is 2 minutes, if it is hybrid or LED, then 30 seconds will be enough for drying.
    • Next, put a drop of biogel in the middle of the nail, wet the brush in a degreaser and pull a thin layer to the cuticle, reducing it to nothing. The rest of the composition is distributed on the nail, pulling up on the form of the second layer. If the material got under the cuticle or side rollers, gently remove it with an orange stick. Again, let biogel level, dry.
    • Apply the third layer in the same way as the second. Also dried.
    • Remove the form.
    • We attach with the help of a file with an abrasiveness 180 grit form. If the layer on the nail turned out uneven, file it with a buff.

    Now on the nails you can do the design with the help of gel polish. If you used camouflage biogel, then you are allowed to simply cover the surface with the top, sealing the ends of the nail. With the help of colored biogel, you can grow your nails, immediately performing the design. In this way it is easy to make a French manicure.

    To reproduce a similar idea is real in two ways.

    1. First, to build up the nail in the usual way, as described above. Additional layer to draw a "smile" as it is usually done with the help of gel polish. Cover the top.
    2. Immediately apply a white biogel to the free edge of the nail, in each layer drawing a “smile”. This method is more time consuming, but as a result, the thickness of the nail will be closer to natural.

    Reviews

    Biogel is quite widely used in the nail industry, but you can find different reviews about nail extensions with this material.

    Some, having tried it, speak about the quality of the product, about the possibility of extending the “life” of the manicure, about the fact that even a beginner can increase the nails with this material.

    Others argue that such material cracks in two weeks, nails become brittle, and manicure with the use of biogel is quite expensive. It must be remembered that not all the material is of the same quality, and choosing biogel, it is better to give preference to well-known brands, rather than buying a cheap low-grade product.
